Alexa Hatcher began working as the Tenant Organizer with RRTN in August 2026, shortly after moving to Nashville.

She brings with her a decade of experience in grassroots organizing, particularly around issues of housing, healthcare and economic justice, as well as direct service work supporting immigrants and refugees across the state of Kentucky.

Alexa earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Sociology, with a minor in Citizenship and Social Justice and a concentration in Community, Environment and Development. Her approach to building people power is based in multiracial class solidarity— centered in the truth that we are not free until we are ALL free.

In her free time, she enjoys studying Spanish, growing and cooking food, and embroidery.
