Jo is currently a second-year student in the Community Development and Action M.Ed. program at Vanderbilt University. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families, specifically those justice-involved, in gaining the resources they need to live free and stable lives. Jo hopes to be a part of making our U.S. cities more equitable places to live and be a part of eradicating homelessness. She loves learning about people different from herself and works hard to speak less and listen more. Jo hopes to gain a Ph.D in urban geography, focusing on social justice and equitable uses of urban spaces.

Outside of her work, Jo is an avid runner, a gardener, a bit of a coffee snob, dog lover, and an amateur pastry connoisseur.
