Monique joined the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association in 2025 as a MSW intern, bringing a deep passion for service and advocacy through the lens of social work. With experience supporting individuals and families in justice-involved and recovery settings, Monique is committed to promoting equity, access, and culturally responsive care within the community.

Originally from West Tennessee, Monique moved to Nashville to further her education in social work and to serve diverse populations across Middle Tennessee. Through NHBA, she seeks to help strengthen partnerships between social service providers and the legal community to better address the needs of vulnerable individuals and families.

Outside of work, Monique enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring different cuisines, walks with her Frenchie and finding new ways to support mental health and wellness initiatives in the Nashville area.
