Teresa Lira joined the NHBA team in July 2025, bringing over a decade of experience supporting families and individuals through legal and community services. Before joining NHBA, she worked as an immigration paralegal and later managed her family’s small business, where she developed strong skills in organization, communication, and client relations.

Teresa earned her degree in Information Technology Applied to Business Administration from Instituto Consorcio Clavijero in Veracruz, Mexico. Her diverse background reflects her passion for helping others and her commitment to making a positive impact in her community.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time with her family, reading uplifting books, going for walks, and connecting with nature. She also volunteers as a Community Ambassador with Autism Tennessee, mentoring and supporting other parents of children with disabilities.
